A new initiative to make trading with Chic Antique

We are happy to announce a new initiative to make trading with Chic Antique as easy and transparent as possible.

This new initiative will allow Chic Antique to handle the import and customs clearance.

We hope this new initiative will make it more easy and convenient when ordering with Chic Antique – as you’ll find no hidden charges.

Going forward here is what to expect from Chic Antique:

£55 customs clearance / export fee on invoice inclusive of all tariff codes.
Shipping of 11% if order is below £1600 and free above.
Environmental fee £11 per pallet (on average a £1600 order fits 1 or 2 palettes)

Going forward here is what to expect from Dachser:

£15 administration fee (service code 333)
£15 Advance of funds / Deferment charge (service code 413)
UK law states certain goods imported into the UK from a third party country, are subject to customs duties. It will appear on the invoice as service code 723.
For example some delph products and some dried flowers coming from China
The code 724 “(Imp TAX)” will appear on the invoice which is UK VAT on the goods supplied. For those registered for VAT this of course can be reclaimed in the normal manner.
This code is not a customs duty and solely refers to your liability and payment of UK VAT.
